"I believe the old African proverb, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’ accurately describes my thoughts on parenthood. Being a part of that village is the reason I love being a pediatrician. The highlight of my job is partnering with families to help raise and nurture their children. I enjoy seeing these kids grow, learn, and mature into young adults. I also feel honored when parents trust me to walk alongside their families during times of sickness, injury, or other difficult situations. To me, my vocation in medicine is a calling to serve."
