"As a Pediatrician, I believe that my most important function, as well as my greatest privilege, is to assist parents in keeping their children healthy. This involves providing well child care, including developmental and nutritional counseling, as well as treating illnesses and minor injuries, for children from birth through adolescence."
Dr. Towns has been married for nearly 40 years to his wonderful wife, Lauri, who is a Registered Nurse. They have three adult children, an incredible son-in-law, two wonderful daughter-in-laws, and six amazing grandchildren!
Medical Education:
Dr. Towns graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Baylor University in 1979 with a B.S. in Biology. He then attended Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and graduated with his Medical Degree in 1983. He completed his internship and residency at Oklahoma Children's Memorial Hospital in 1986, and then started Pediatrics Southwest with Dr. Hunke of 1986. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow in the American College of Pediatricians.
